RENEGADE NELL
Disney+ (29 March) Created by Happy Valley writer Sally Wainwright, this eight-episode period swashbuckler follows Nell Jackson (Derry Girls’ Louisa Harland), a bold young woman who finds herself framed for murder and ends up the most feared highwaywoman in 18th-century England. But when a mystical spirit called Billy Blind (Ted Lasso’s Nick Mohammed) appears, Nell realises that fate has placed her on the wrong side of the law for a reason. The cast includes Joely Richardson, Adrian Lester, Craig Parkinson and Frank Dillane.
