Toyah has had her fair share of trauma over the years – infertility, bereavement and, of course, a horrific rape ordeal. And this week, that painful chapter of her life, 23 years ago, is brought back into focus when she confesses to Nick that the assault resulted in a stillborn daughter.
Toyah’s bombshell is part of a chain of events connected to Roy having been charged with Lauren’s murder. With the pensioner held on remand, niece Nina is running the cafe and young Sam is helping out by walking his pal’s four- legged friend, Freddie.
