Damsel NEW Available: Friday 8 March Genre: Fantasy drama
Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown finds herself stuck in another kind of Upside Down this week, starring in a dark fantasy adventure that pits a sacrificial princess-to-be against a colossal, cave-dwelling dragon.
From 28 Weeks Later director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, the epic Netflix film follows Elodie, the damsel of the title, who lands in hot water when she agrees to marry handsome Prince Henry (Nick Robinson).
But while Elodie has the backing of her father and stepmother (Ray Winstone and Angela Bassett), she is unaware that evil Queen Isabelle (Robin Wright) and the rest of the royal family are planning to toss the new bride into a cave to fulfil an ancient ritual and repay a debt.
