Dr. Anthony Chaffee reveals simple Harvard-approved guidelines linked to impressive fat loss + better health
The carnivore cure for weight loss

Posts about the carnivore diet-which calls for eating only animal foods-have amassed 1.3 billion views on TikTok. Why so many? Well, folks give the strategy credit for stunning health turnarounds. "I personally quintupled my calorie intake and lost 23 pounds in 10 days," shares functional medicine expert Anthony Chaffee, M.D. Dr. Chaffee uses his Plant Free MD podcast to inspire women like Sharrell Kline, 64, who healed a debilitating skin condition and lost 100 pounds. "Many women in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond reverse diabetes and metabolic syndrome, alleviate autoimmune diseases, even lift major depression." Harvard experts recently surveyed thousands of carnivores (up to age 85!) and found many more benefits: 89% reported higher energy, 93% lowered blood pressure, 91% cut cravings. Brain fog, arthritis, GI trouble and sleep got better. Many got off meds. Says Dr. Chaffee, "Even if you try carnivore for a short time, it'll give you a reference point for how amazing your body can feel."

The gist of the carnivore diet is simple: Skip plant-based foods in favor of dairy, eggs, fish, poultry, beef, lamb and pork. People get creative and make bread from cheese and eggs or "breading" from pork rinds. Some also allow coffee or spices. But mostly it's meat.

Yes, that sounds crazy at first. But consider this: "There's evidence prehistoric humans were carnivores for 2 million years before eating vegetables," says Dr. Chaffee. So the diet has a long track record of helping us survive and thrive.
