Together with Longchamp, we sat down with Jane Chuck and Mandy Gioh to talk about turning 30, social media and the success of Chuck's.

How was Chuck’s founded?

JANE It started around six years ago. That was when I travelled frequently to Seoul and I would always buy and try a lot of their local skincare products. So I thought, “maybe I can start something for myself?” It was just a vague idea. Honestly, I want to have a creative outlet where I can express myself freely.

MANDY I think for Jane, it is a very natural progression in her career as a content creator, where she slowly expand and venture into more creative outlets like her YouTube, Chuck’s and Motherchuckers.

And how did Mandy join the picture for Chuck’s?

JC Mandy was originally not in the plan. Back then, she was working with me for my social media content. I think it was when the first batch of Chuck’s mask had completed that I asked Mandy to become the creative director of Chuck’s. I knew I could trust her with it because she really knows what I want and we share the same aesthetics.

Both of you have just passed the 30s-mark. What are the difference between life now and in your 20s?
