This twenty-ninth "epic" piece was supposed to be written from a cafe on the streets of Lhasa sitting by my motorcycle basking in the radiance of the Potala Palace but sadly it's being written from my chair in my apartment in Mumbai with the sun blazing into my eyes as I stare out at the building complex across the park. The only motorcycles by me are my Lego 1200 GS and a Hot Wheels Ducati DesertX. Quite a stark comparison.
Why Tibet got pushed back is the ridiculous costs that need to be paid to the agents for the fees and permissions required to cross onto the top of the world. We have not totally cancelled the ride but just pushed it a bit further back to November. Let's see what happens.
