If you’re in the market for your very first car, the plethora of options available can be overwhelming. But as a novice driver, you might want to consider something smaller to hone your skills in — a learner’s car to say so. Something like the Renault Kwid Climber edition. It’s been around for a while but does the Kwid still have what it takes to be your first car?
The Kwid, at just over 3.7 metres long and under 1.6 metres wide, is the acme of compactness. It slips through traffic and fits into tight spots with ease. What sets it apart from other hatchbacks is its SUV-inspired design, featuring a bold front end, split headlamps, and DRLs that blend with the grille. On the side, the Kwid features faux roof rails and door cladding along with squared-off wheel arches. At the rear, Renault has decided to keep things simple with the design but continues with the SUV essence as it gets a skid plate-like element under the bumper. A neat touch is the integration of the rear camera in the Renault logo.
