The First of its kind
We have heard of various awards like Filmfare, SIIMA etc. but, unfortunately, most, if not all of them, are dedicated to movies and related craft. There are a few other awards for sports, music, dance and other such arts. With the digitization of the nation, it's high time we add a new category for the awards, i.e., Best Content Creation. Numerous creators have been creating content from years to serve various purposes to our society.
For the first time ever, National Creator Awards have been hosted and were given away by the Honorable Prime Minister of our Nation, Narendra Modi Ji. Perhaps, if someone had told us years ago, that we might have a chance to get an award from the hands of our Prime Minister for creating videos on social media, we would definitely have laughed it off. But, it is true now.
This new award program was launched by the Indian government to empower online creators who inspire people and give positive content. Millions of digital creators on Facebook, Instagram, X, and other platforms create positive content on social media and inspire others. The National Creators Award 2024 gets a total of 1.5 lakh nominations across the 20 categories, with 10 lakh votes cast through the selection process.
