Anjali Anand was seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani as Ranveer Singh’s sister, Gayatri Randhawa. She says she was thrilled to get an offer from Dharma Productions, as she had heard great things about it. “Someone once told me that once you go to Dharma, you’ll never want to come back. And I found that to be all true. They treat us like family and shower us with warmth and respect.” She believes in the power of manifestation and says that she had wished her first film to be a Dharma production while still in school and it came true. “People told me I was crazy. I told them, wait and watch; Karan Johar is going to cast me in a film, and it happened.” Anjali’s sister used to work for Yash Raj for a while and became friends with casting director Shanoo Sharma during that time. Shanoo called her one fine day and asked her to send her photos for a Dharma project. She went for an audition without any expectations and, to her delight, got selected.
