“The bugs,” says the actress with a shudder. “I actually thought I was okay with them and then we shot that scene.”
Daisy, 32, plays introverted office worker Fran, who daydreams about how she might die, imagining snakes or insects crawling over her.
“The [scene] with ants crawling on my hand was fine,” she says. “But then we did one where I am literally covered in bugs – real bugs – and I couldn’t move. I was gagging, it was that horrible.”
It’s perhaps surprising, then, that Daisy uses the words “uplifting” and “positive” to describe the movie.
“It’s a film about overcoming adversity and connecting with people in a really positive way,” she says. “I play a woman called Fran and this is a story centred on her and her trouble socially.
