I'M NOT AFRAID TO FAIL'

Will.i.am is a man of many talents. In addition to being a Grammy Award-winning musician and founder and frontman of the Black Eyed Peas, he's starred in movies including X-Men Origins: Wolverine, served as a coach on The Voice UK and The Voice Kids, and launched his own line of eyewear back in 2014. He's also a tech entrepreneur, having created his company, i.am+, in 2013 and launched his new AI-powered messenger platform, FYI, last May. For all his career hits, there have also been misses but he believes there's value in striking out. "I am not afraid of failing," says the 49-yearold (born William James Adams Jr.). "Every error is learning, and my failures become my accelerators." Here, he talks to In Touch's Lindsay Hoffman about his new partnership with Mercedes-AMG, working with Britney Spears and taking risks.

You’ve admitted some of the tech you’ve created hasn’t worked out. Any regrets?
