Here's a piece of trivia for you: If you turn Omega's (non-automatic) Constellation timepiece around, you'll find an emblem of an observatory with eight stars shining above it. The observatory represents the Kew-Teddington and Geneva observatories, where the brand set two world records and swept six first-place awards for its precision in the mid-20th century. The emblem is where the collection gets its name from; and while the Constellation might not have been the first watch on the moon (Omega's beloved Speedmaster has that distinction), its relationship with astronomy is as intricately woven into its DNA.
