If there's one thing that defines Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, it is the penchant for simplicity. Season after season, the building blocks of an enduring wardrobe underscore each collection. And for spring/summer 2024, his vision has only gotten that much clearer. Presented within the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower, Vaccarello showcased his line-up on a lavish marble stage.
This collection, as mentioned by Vaccarello, is an ode to strong women who "infiltrated domains once considered exclusively male, such as aviation and car racing", inspired by aviators such as Amelia Earhart and Adrienne Bolland.
Infusing femininity and masculinity, the Belgian-Italian designer transformed masculine pieces into gender-blurring ensembles.
