'She makes you feel like a friend'
INSIDE TAYLORMANIA

Rita is a self-confessed Taylor Swift superfan. At her Croydon Park home, in Sydney's west, Rita's cupboards are overflowing with tour-specific merchandise.

From perfume to CDs, vinyl records, blankets, posters and cardboard figures, the 52-year-old tells New Idea she even has a dedicated wardrobe of Swiftie stuff 'chockers' with jumpers and T-shirts.

"I'm an older Swiftie, but I'm proud, I wear her merch all the time", says Rita who has been running a fan page dedicated to the pop star for over a decade.

Her love for the 12-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter began back in 2008 when Rita first heard the opening riff of 'Love Story' on the radio.

"I'd never heard a song like that, that just drew me in that just like that I connected with," explains Rita.
