Explosive new claims about Ivan Milat suggest that Australia’s most notorious serial killer might have had a secret female accomplice.

Between 1989 and 1993, the late Milat made the NSW Southern Highlands’ Belanglo State Forest his own personal burial ground. Despite a mountain of evidence against him, Milat always denied he was the ‘Backpacker Murderer’ responsible for killing seven travellers. He famously tried shifting blame on to others at his trial.

Now, former NSW police officer Meni Caroutas believes more truths about Milat’s killing spree will be revealed as “other secrets in the forest emerge”. This includes the identity of a potential female partner in crime.
