DANNY CARE insisted it was a no-brainer to sign a new deal at Harlequins - which will take him into a 19th season at the club.
The scrum-half, who will be 38 in January, has decided to stick at the Stoop where he can give Quins his full attention after retiring from Test rugby in March.
Care has played a record 374 times for the club, but put pen to paper on a new deal despite being courted by Top 14 outfits Perpignan and Bayonne.
He has been at Quins since 2006, when he joined from Leeds, and is one of three men to have represented the Londoners more than 300 times, ahead of Mike Brown and Chris Robshaw. Care won Premiership titles with Harlequins in 2012 and 2021 and the European Challenge Cup in 2011.
Care said he had no hesitation in staying on.
