HAMZA CHOUDHURY thanked Leicester fans for playing a massive part in the club's promotion back to the Premier League.
The Foxes midfielder was born up the road in Loughborough and has been with them since 2005, when he was seven.
He joined his team-mates in a bus-top parade through Leicester city centre yesterday to celebrate a triumphant campaign that saw them win the Championship title by one point despite losing to Blackburn on Saturday.
And the 26-year-old was overcome with emotion as he looked over the thousands of fans decked in blue and white.
"We've had amazing support all season and it's great seeing them today come out in their numbers," he said.
