PLANS for a £40 million "Dubaistyle tower" planned for Plymouth's waterfront have come back to life, more than nine years after they were given the go-ahead.
The Millbay Marina Village won planning permission way back in March 2015 and while work has 'begun to satisfy planners, the scheme remains in limbo.
Permission was granted for 142 residential apartments within three separate blocks at West Hoe: a pier building, a building on Grand Parade and a building on Great Western Road, along with 194 parking spaces. The project envisaged an impressive 11-storey-high building being placed on Millbay Marina's furthest pier.
