Seafood restaurant on Looe quayside reopens

A SEAFOOD restaurant brought to life during the Covid crisis has reopened with a "coastal-inspired" makeover.

The Fish Market, on the quayside in Looe, has been redesigned in shades of blue, grey and white, with more covers and extra outside space for eating.

The restaurant has added an open kitchen, where customers can see chef and owner Fred Alsop preparing their food.

Patio seating provides another 20 seats overlooking Looe Harbour, where fishermen deliver their catch directly to the door each day.

The Fish Market was initially launched as a pop-up takeaway service on 2020. The restaurant followed in May 2021 in response to customer demand.

Fred said: "We were overwhelmed by the community support for our takeaway service during lockdown.
