ARGYLE WANT PHILLIPS AND DEVINE ON LOAN NEXT SEASON
CHRIS ERRINGTON
WE WANT YOU BACK!

PLYMOUTH Argyle have already expressed an interest in Tottenham Hotspur teenage duo Alfie Devine and Ashley Phillips returning to them next season.

The England under-20 internationals were on loan to the Pilgrims for the final four months of their 2023/24 Championship campaign after being brought to the club by former head coach Ian Foster.

Devine and Phillips both started the season-ending 1-0 victory over Hull City at Home Park on Saturday which ensured Argyle escaped relegation.

Phillips, who was signed by Tottenham from Blackburn Rovers for £2 million last summer, showed considerable promise as an 18-year-old defender during his loan as he made 16 starts and two substitute appearances in the league for Argyle, and also played in the two FA Cup ties against Leeds United.
