I recently attended an incredible three-day aerial photography workshop under the expert guidance of award-winning photographers Ken Duncan and Ignacio Palacios. Our location was the UNESCO World Heritage area of Shark Bay in Australia, 750km north of Perth, and also westernmost of the Australian continent.
On day one, we arrived at Shark Bay airport for our safety briefing then strapped ourselves into the harnesses needed for the modified light aircraft, a Cessna 206. Doors were removed to allow unrestricted access for the best possible aerial photography experience. Our top pilots knew the best areas to visit so our time was optimized during the flights.
