Activists target Shell and BC

Protest art collective Brandalism ‘hacked’ billboards in Manchester in protest against Shell and its partnership with British Cycling. The group’s fake billboard ads showed a bike rider drinking oil from a bidon and another depicting a rider falling off after riding over a split oil drum.

Shell responded by saying: “These protest ads are misleading, not constructive and completely mischaracterise the nature of our partnership with British Cycling.”
