As a girl, I can remember that the summer break seemed to stretch on forever and ever… until that first day of term, which always felt like a rude awakening! Of course, from a mother’s point of view, things look very different and you’ll notice the change to your child’s  habits, focus and schedule. Going back to the classroom is full of transitions, new people and new routines. Sometimes kids need a helping hand to make sure they adapt smoothly. So it can be no surprise that new fathers-to-be also have secret concerns. The difference is that in general, men tend to communicate these fears and stresses much less than women.
