In this issue
Issue #34 of Adventure Rider Magazine has raged through a mountain of cutting-edge material in its latest issue.
BMW’s incredible 1250 GS, Triumph’s Scrambler 1200 and KTM’s 790 Adventure are giving thorough reviews, and some industry experts explain how to go about choosing a good adventure boot.
The stories are the backbone of the issue, as always, with tales from Morocco, South America, and North America, as well as all over Australia itself.
The jewel in the crown is a long chat with Dakar winner, and Australia’s newest world champion, Toby Price.
It’s an issue as big as the adventure-riding world itself.
710RR Hard Kits Series 3
Hard Kits has been refining its aftermarket rallye set up for KTM’s 690 and Husqvarna’s 701 for a while now. The new Series 3 kit is a ball-tearer.

Adventure R - KTM 790
Adventure Rider Magazine travelled to Morocco to ride KTM’s newest adventure bikes. It was worth every minute and every kilometre. Both 790s are awesome. The Adventure R was the one which got us really excited, though. It was totally at home in the fesh-fesh, rock and sandstorms of the Sahara, and seems to be an ideal fit for Australia’s toughest riding.

The Big Hill
A steep downhill is nothing to laugh about, but Rod Taylor and a couple of mates could still smile after a tough descent.

Company Towns
Bob Wozga packed his camera, grabbed his DR650 and headed into NSW’s Blue Mountains to absorb some history from a couple of small towns: Newnes and Portland.

Triumph Scrambler 1200XE
Triumph calls it a ‘modern classic’, and there’s no doubt the styling of the new Scrambler 1200 is pretty damn sexy. We thought it was an inner-city image bike, but Triumph encouraged us to ride and rate the bike as adventure mount. Hmm.

Five Points Of Control
Miles highlights some very important and fundamental riding concepts.

Camper Or Pamper?
