Poland. Destination, culture, nature. We have been running lovePoland.org profile on FB for over two years now and our further development should be just a natural consequence of it. We would like to introduce a new free online magazine “travel.lovePoland”. We hope that it will be an interesting source of information about our country, especially for our friends from abroad. We would like the beauty of Poland to be presented through photographs to encourage you to get to know Poland better and to become an inspiration for your own research.  We are especially grateful to the authors of the photographs for their cooperation at the first edition. Meet their creative works of art. This is an inspirational experience. Enjoy your reading. And  please be gentle to us…this is our first edition ever ! :) And…If you like the Magazine..even a bit, please give us a like. It will help a lot to be better visible. lovePoland team

Dear Readers,
Lots of us can say that it has been a strange year, maybe even a bad one. Probably, for many of us, it was so on a private level, and certainly it was a difficult year for the tourism industry. By publishing our magazine, however, we hope that this difficult time will soon pass and we will be able to enjoy traveling again. For me, it was a difficult year at times; like many of you, I spent too much time at home, which just drained my energy. However, we managed to visit the Low Beskid and everything indicates that we will settle there permanently. And who knows? We might also be able to host you there.
As befits the winter issue of the magazine, we encourage you to get to know and visit various parts of Poland. We show you round the most famous places, such as Gdańsk or the Tatras (in Łukasz' beautiful photographs), but we also encourage you to get to know the less known ones, such as Tylicz or Ochodzita or the Herbst Museum in Łódź. 
As usual, we devote a lot of space to Polish nature. This time in two articles: Magda and Łukasz take you on the Biebrza, and Włodzimierz Stachoń invites you to get to know wild birds. There must be also something about Christmas traditions. As always, Kasia Skóra will tell about many of them – but she won't be the only one. Get to know some secrets of Polish Christmas cuisine, including those described by Magdalena Tomaszewska-Bolałek. And almost at the end, we have for you a beautiful, in our opinion, photo gallery by Kamila - kept in a very festive mood.

Dear Readers,
Once again, we invite you to visit Poland in the autumn season. I must admit that this is probably my favourite time of the year. The sun still shines beautifully and the landscape is filled with colours. This fullness of colours can be perhaps best admired in the southern part of Poland so, in the first place, we invite you there. Of course, we can't miss other places in Poland that we will encourage you to visit as well. So, let's start our adventure from visiting the mountains of Beskid Sądecki and the stories of Janusz Wańczyk, already familiar to you. Right after that, make a trip to the Low Beskids – probably the most 'wild' and peaceful part of our country. We are going to show it to you more often as it will be our future place on earth where we will settle down. From the vicinity of Gorlice, we invite you to see a photo report from the autumn sheep grazing (most of the photos were taken in the commune of Sękowa by Krystian Kiwacz). In the further part of the magazine, learn about the re-enactment of the greatest battle during World War I, which took place in Poland. This re-enactment is organised in Sękowa. As usual, we cannot miss the beautiful Polish nature – see photos by Włodzimierz Stachoń from the Dunajec River Valley. We have never written about one of the most tragic places in Polish land – the Nazi death camp Auschwitz (Oświęcim). We invited an inhabitant of Oświęcim to tell his story. We wanted a story about this town as a 'living' place. Today, Oświęcim wants to be perceived as a city of peace and reconciliation. It is impossible to describe all the content and photos in such a short introduction, but we encourage you to read the rest of the magazine.

We invite you to another, summer issue of the Magazine. We finished preparing it at the beginning of June, so well before the beginning of the high tourist season. However, due to the prevailing pandemic conditions, we encourage you to check information regarding travelling to Poland (also on our social sites). This time we start with a special length reportage by Marek Kalisiński: The Centre of Slavs and Vikings –  Jomsborg Vineta, Wolin. Staying in northern Poland, we encourage you to visit the Wolin National Park – and a little further, in Masuria – the war quarters of the Wolf's Lair. As always, we could not miss a visit to Polish cities – this time it will be medieval Toruń, beautiful Muszyna in Konrad Rogozinski's photography and a bit less known, but still worth visiting Chęciny with the text and photographs of Michał Piorun.

It's getting warm again! Hiking trips no longer require great preparations to make sure we will be warm. Hence, we are inviting you to some interesting places in Poland. We start the journey with searching for Wroclaw Dwarfs, and then move to one of the youngest, but with numerous historic links, the city of Gdynia. I also encourage you to read the interview with Aleksander Smaga, an architect involved in commemorating our history.
The magazine must not miss trips related to nature. This time, we are inviting you to two national parks. First, to Magura (with an additional text by Katarzyna Skora) and then to the Barycz Valley Park located in the opposite corner (it may be a good idea to spend time in western Poland - right after visiting Wrocław).
For our part, we recommend a trip to a place not often reached buy the tourists coming from abroad - namely the monastery in Wigry - located somewhere far in the eastern borderland of Poland. For those who prefer rather mountain expeditions combined with relaxation in a climatic small town, we have a text about Krynica - located on the edge of the Beskid Sadecki (which, the chances are, may be our future home).
In the Magazine we always try to devote a lot place to tradition: this time, of course, it will be Easter and a text devoted to a 'Śmigus', as well as a bit more serious one associated with the pilgrimage to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. Closer to the summer period, we would like to invite you to participate in Pentecost and Midsummer Night celebrations - it will be a journey to the east again.
In this issue, we have also prepared a special map for you, regarding the trips with a dog. Many of you probably take your pet on vacation, so let's have a look where, in Polish National Parks, your dog can accompany you.
We wish you a Happy Easter with a  piece of sweet, shortcrust mazurek.

We invite you for several expeditions to the mountainous corners of Poland. We will visit the Bieszczady Mountains and Tatra Mountains – this time in a slightly extreme version – namely climbing. We also invite you to the slightly mysterious Low Beskids and Gorce. And if you want to learn a bit more about our beautiful cover – read the story of Łukasz Sowiński about Babia Góra. The mysterious and beautiful Sowie Mountains, courtesy of Telewizja Sudecka and to get to know Krynica-Zdrój as part of our cooperation with the Meet the Beskid Sadecki Project. It is also time for those who, looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle,  go on trips to places  which  typically crowded in summer, in autumn  offer rest in  peace and quiet.

Welcome to the Summer Edition of the travel.lovePoland Magazine 2019. 
Probably everyone loves summer. This is the most beautiful season and Poland is not an exception here. This time we would like to invite you to discover almost the full range of what our country has to offer: from north to south. We invite you to the Polish coast and especially to the Hel Peninsula. You can see its charm from a less known perspective – namely – from a bird's eye view. Let's then go south on an expedition to the Polish Tatra Mountains, and those who want to discover a bit more, may feel encouraged to go for a trip to Orava or to the Poprad Valley. Of course, you can always relax from the hardships of walking, strolling in the evening around beautiful Krakow.
In Poland you will find almost everything, including places that will allow you to move back into distant past times – even a thousand years back. For those who like such trips we have an invitation to Biskupin or old castles in the south of Poland. In our Magazine, we also keep presenting Polish traditions – this time we encourage you to learn about the customs associated with Corpus Christi Day in Łowicz. We surely have something for culture lovers as well: The Jagiellonian Fair in Lublin.

Spring is the time when nature awakens to life and thousands of birds visit Poland. Małgorzata Pawelczyk will talk about it in her story about the Biebrza and Narew rivers. In this issue, we would like to invite you to the region, which is maybe less known, but offering great rest in silence, combined with the opportunity to learn about the Polish tradition and culture, i.e. Kurpie. Bogdan Białczak will guide us around. By the way, if you choose a slightly different route, coming to Poland by car, maybe it is worth visiting the cross - border city of Szczecin? Damian Róż invites you there. For history lovers, we recommend the conversations with Radosław Sikora (a historian and an expert in Polish Hussars) and Marek Kalasiński - a photographer. It is also worth taking a look at Poland from above, if only to see Krakow from a less known perspective, or to visit less-known places, nevertheless attractive and related to the history of Poland - all this in the conversation with Radosław Kowal.

Winter, although often associated with cold, is one of the most beautiful seasons. 
In Poland, as in many parts of the world, the climate is changing and there is less and less snow every year, however, 
in many parts of our country it is still enough. We invite you for a journey through Poland dressed up in a winter robe. 
Visit the eastern regions with famous wisents – European bisons, get to know the wild birds that you can meet with us and, above all, go to the mountains: for a long winter wander, to see their natural beauty or to meet wild Polish horses. 
And when you are tired, come for a cup of warm tea to Krakow, Zakopane or Warsaw. There, you can feel festive atmosphere. And if you want to get to know our traditions, visit the Open-air Museum in Sierpc or try to search among the inhabitants of Zakopane, for at least one of the strong highland ladies. However, if you stay at home and read only our magazine, you will still have the opportunity to get to know all these places thanks to excellent photography.

Dear Readers, Welcome to the autumn issue of the magazine. As in the previous editions, we show you Poland through beautiful photos, hoping that it will encourage you to further search and visiting our country. On November 11, Poland will celebrate 100th anniversary of independence. For this reason, Professor Marceli Tureczek prepared a special anniversary article focusing on the main points of this historic event. We hope you will celebrate with us. As always, we encourage you to get to know and visit different parts of Poland. Marcin Tarkowski will take you on a trip to Lublin - charming, full of tradition city in Eastern Poland. We also encourage you to read a conversation with Wojciech Bytner who takes photos of Masuria - the land of thousands of lakes. And then, together with Włodzimierz Stachoń, we will move to Subcarpathian region to discover the beauty of wild nature. Similarly, we cannot take a notice of the photographs of Mikołaj Gospodarek, who shows full of nostalgia Masovia region.

Welcome to the summer edition of our Magazine. This season of the year encourages us to leave our homes, travel, discover and make new friends. In Poland, summer is beautiful and the possibilities of discovering and exploring the landscapes are almost limitless: from the Baltic Sea to the picturesque Tatra and wild Bieszczady Mountains.
We invite you to get to know different parts of Poland, including those less known.  We start our journey with the Wieliczka Salt Mine – known probably to everyone and after a while we move to Wrocław, recognized as the best course of expeditions in Europe. While in Wrocław, you will be guided by Janusz Krzeszowski, a local photographer.
In this issue, we devote a lot of space to the project Fall in Love with Poland at Night, showing different places, sometimes less known to foreign tourists (e.g. Tarnow, Sucha Beskidzka, Bydgoszcz or Zielona Gora).  
Summer in Poland is also a time for people with religious sensitivity to make pilgrimages to the places of worship. This time we invite you to St. Anne Mountain that will be presented to us by Błażej Duk, a photographer and the author of the website devoted to this sacred place.  
   A guide, Irek Szajba, will take us around Warsaw Royal Baths Park and the watercolour presented in the article will be the subject of the auction supporting our Magazine. Finally, our recommendation: a photo-story with a commentary by Krystian Bielatowicz, its author, devoted to shepherding and traditional cheese production in the Pieniny Mountains. Welcome to the spring edition of the magazine. As in previous editions, we show you Poland through beautiful photographs, hoping to encourage you to search on your own and visit our country. The motto of this number is 'Go East'. Eastern Poland is definitely less known and popular among tourists, probably due to the further distance from the most popular tourist centres. However, it has much to offer, especially for those who seek peace, silence and communing with nature. We devoted two important texts to the East. The first of them, ‘Magic of Podlasie’, is a conversation with Jerzy Rajecki, an enthusiast and a real institution when it comes to photographs and documentation of this region. Another article is 'Holy Mount Grabarka' with an excellent text by Alicja Marciniak-Nowak.
  For me personally, as for an editor of the magazine, the conversation with Franciszek Kupczyk and his photographs of monks from the Camaldolese Assembly are of particular importance. Beautiful, in-depth thoughts on the nature of our life, combined with the mystical photography of monks. Do not skip the conversation with Janusz Wańczyk who passionately talks about his favourite Sądecczyzna.
  In the short introduction it is impossible to mention everything but I hope that the beauty of the Tatra nature shown by Przemysław Piegza and the 'storks' by Paweł Pluciński will win your hearts.  
Get to know some Polish traditions connected with Easter and especially those related to the Easter basket. And finally
