I denne utgaven

Desh 2 June 2023 issue commemorates the 125th birth anniversary of the iconic Spanish poet-dramatist Federico Garcia Lorca (1898-1936). The four essays written by Tarunkumar Ghatak, Subodh Sarkar, Arun Mukhapadhyay and Sanjay Mukhapadhyay explore the life and works of Lorca and also his relevance in our times. The issue carries two important essays—one by Subhashish Chakrabarty on the Bengali author Prabhatkumar Mukhapadhyay (1873-1932), commemorating the author's 150th birth anniversary and another by Champakali Ayub on the drosophilists and the Nobel Prize. Regular sections like the serialized novel Shunya Pather Mallika by Smaranjit Chakrabarty, Mantabya, Granthalok, Kabita, Galpo, Shilpo Sanskriti, Chithipatra, Seshkatha etc are there as usual.
