The 2021 Forbes India Rich List gives insights into the businesses of the wealthiest people in the country. India’s 100 richest added over $325 billion to their cumulative wealth in the second year of the pandemic. More than 80 percent of the listees saw their wealth increase in the last year, with 61 adding $1 billion or more. The edition features the journeys of Ashok Boob, managing director of Clean Science and Technology; Inder Jaisinghani, chairman and managing director, Polycab India, who makes his debut on the list; Arvind Lal, who is at the forefront of a healthtech revolution with Dr Lal PathLabs, and billionaire investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.
