Highlights of Auto Bild dated June 5th, 2015. In this issue of AUTOBILD INDIA, we have a collection of head-to-head tests that will make your head spin. Highlights of Auto Bild dated May 5th, 2015. Welcome to another loaded issue of Auto Bild India. We have driven the BMW i8 which can be deemed as a properly ‘Back to the future’ car. Then we follow it up with the recently launched Mercedes-Benz CLS. In our Road Test section, we have compared the Hyundai i20 Active with its closest rivals, the Fiat Avventura and the Toyota Etios Cross. Let’s find out which is the best of the new age pseudo crossovers. Our motorcycle section comes with first rides of the hottest metal on two wheels as well. Highlights of Auto Bild dated April 20th, 2015.In the second issue of April, we get a glimpse of how Ford Aspire(s) to take on its rivals in the compact sedan segment. Porsche’s beautiful Boxster and Cayman twins are now available in a hotter GTS trim for the first time ever and they’re now available in India. JLR is taking the ‘Make in India’ policy seriously as the chic Range Rover Evoque can now be yours for much lesser due to local production. We were in a mood for fun this quarter so we actively participated in Hyundai’s launch of the i20’s newest variant and then went on to find out how surprising an S badge is with a Mini Cooper. Our ed took it a step further and went all the way to Finland to drive the latest Audi S5 while some more enjoyment was had here from the Cartier Vintage Rally and Nissan Carnival. But we do some serious number crunching with the Tata Bolt being compared to the Hyundai i20 and tally elaborate point sheets to determine the winners of the coveted Golden Steering Wheel. Oh wait, for the ones from the two-wheeled breed, Italian stallions are now trotting on Indian tarmac as Ducati and Benelli launch their eclectic line-up of motorcycles in India.

It’s April and we’re not fooling around because there was some serious work done like getting you the lowdown on VW’s exciting Polo-based SUV. The macho Renault Duster gets a host of updates under the skin while Hyundai proactively steps into the cross-hatchback segment with their new i20 Active. There’s a definitive sex appeal in the new Mini Cooper S while Mercedes updates the B-class in hope for a different kind of appeal. Someone told us that vans are cool so we try and find out by driving the new Renault Lodgy and then pitting the Datsun Go+ against the Honda Mobilio and Maruti-Suzuki Eeco. We also bring you all the glitz and glamour from the Geneva Motor Show and work hard to preview the star-studded line-up of this year’s Golden Steering Wheel Awards nominations. Meanwhile, there are two new Triumph Tigers on the prowl so we decide to get the big Indian Chieftain to scare them away. But some of us seek more thrilling adventures so we headed to the dunes of Rajasthan to stir up a hurricane in the Desert Storm 2015. Our chief lensman decides to get himself clicked so he saddles up on a Triumph Daytona 675R for some added style. Finally, we hang our boots for some new ones in our Products section.

Automatic choice: Maruti-Suzuki has shaken up the automatic hatchback market with the launch of Celerio. The market response has been so overwhelming that there is a long waiting period on the delivery of the Celerio. This time Auto Bild India decided to pit the Maruti-Suzuki Celerio against the Honda Brio and Nissan Micra to see how Martui’s innovative approach of developing a low-cost automatic gearbox fares against the competition.  
Mercedes AMGs: Mercedes regularly gives high-performance AMG treatment to its popular models. This time it has given the AMG treatment to the ML-class and GL-class making the two SUVs even more outrageous in terms of power and performance.
Triple fun: The Street Triple with its 1,050cc engine and 136bhp of peak power is a true scorcher on the road.

SUVs galore: As temperatures rise, the action in the Indian SUV segment too is heating up. We drive three new SUVs that will hit the road this summer.
