Main Story from Andhra Pradesh is about Alarming rise in attacks on girl students. About 150 cases have been reported from Hyderabad and Cyberabad police limits in last two months alone. All these cases of violence and harassment involves girl students. Most of the perpetrators have turned out tobe employees of an institution, including teachers, even principals. Cases were also emerging from private tuition classes and coaching centers. The story exposes how educational institutions have failed to ensure the safety of their girl students with opinions of experts and other related persons.
There was a special story on Sankranthi, a crop-festival of Telugu people, which has a tradition of many centuries. The story discusses about changing trends of the Telugu culture and also focused on cock- fight, which runs into billions of rupees betting. A Story on GSLV-5 launch from Sriharikota was also carried.
