Highlights India Today Telugu magazine dated October2, 2012. It carried Cover Story on the Mamatha Benerjee pullout from UPA-2. The decision not only sent Congress on a hunt for allies, but will cripple UPA-2\' new zeel for reforms. The story also comprised with the position of various political parties in parliament and the oppinions of different econominsts on the reforms, which are recently adopted by the government.

A three page story on Rahul Gandhi was also carried along with the Cover story package. Congress party is pinning its last hope on him for the party\'s revival.

The main story from Andhra Pradesh was about Mr. K.Chandrasekhara Rao, Telangana Rastra Samithi supremo. The story dealt in depth with the present position of Mr. Rao in the Telangana Movement. The political parties, which are supported his leadership to the movement, now keep distance from him. Now he face challenges from all corners and isolated from the other parties, like BJP, CPI, which are also fight for telangana. BJP, CPI strategies also discussed in seperate box items.

A four page big story was carried on the Salman Rushdie and his latest writing \'Joseph Anton\'. Stories on the Rajasthan\'s Jal Mahal controversy and Gujarath\'s Narendra Modi taking refugee in Swami Vivekananda\'s name were also carried.

A One page original story on the the recent verbal duels, agtations, destrictive acts over the Andhra Pradesh state division. The situation arised due to the Pro-telangana, pro- united Andhra leaders rising their voices once again on the state division was dealt in the issue.
