काल के कपाल पर जीवन और संघर्ष की अमिट इबारत लिखने वाला वीत रागी चला गया अनंत यात्रा पर...कभी न लौटने के लिए। 16 अगस्त, 2018 को मां भारती के लाडले और भारतीय राजनीति के राजर्षि, अटल बिहारी बाजपेयी ने इस नश्वर दुनिया को अलविदा कह दिया। प्रार्थनाओं के अनवरत क्रम, दुआवों के हजारों सिलसिले, दवाओं की तमाम खुराकें भी नहीं रोक पाईं भारत के महानायक को महाप्रयाण से। मन व्यथित और व्याकुल है। चित्त की अकुलाहट बरबस ही नयनों की कोरें गीली कर रही है। मृत्यु एक अटल सत्य है किन्तु फिर भी अटल का जाना समूचे राष्ट्र के जन-गण-मन को सहज स्वीकार्य नहीं हो रहा है।
