Welcome to the latest, July 1, 2024 Digital Edition of Indian Newslink.
We have immense pleasure in announcing that the 13th Annual Indian Newslink Lecture will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Pullman Hotel, Auckland City. Trade Minister Todd McClay, India’s High Commissioner to New Zealand Neeta Bhushan and Duco Consultancy Chief Executive Chandan Ohri are among the speakers this year. Other speakers are being finalised.
The Indian Newslink Lecture series has been designed to focus on Good Governance at the core of New Zealand’s government, non-governmental, corporate and professional lives and conform to accepted standards of integrity, honesty, accountability and transparency. The Series began as the Indian Newslink Sir Anand Satyanand Lecture in 2011 and was rebranded as the Annual Indian Newslink Lecture in 2019.
This issue of Indian Newslink carries some details of the Lecture- more to follow.
Our front page has another good story: The long-awaited Sri Venkateshwara Temple in Auckland is reaching the finale of its early planning process and we hope that it will receive the requisite consent to commence construction.
We have featured the highlights of the Tenth Annual Indian Newslink Sports, Community, Arts and Culture Awards held on June 17, 2024 at Swaminarayan Complex in Papatoetoe, South Auckland at which more than 80 organisations and individuals were honoured for their achievements in various fields of activities.
This Edition has all our regular departments and columns, including Current Affairs, Politics, Education, news relating to Fiji and Fiji Indians, Business, Open-Ed, our Leaders, Community, Entertainment and Sports. Many are them are exclusive and are products of research, discussions and interviews with people everywhere.
Please read and share it with your associates, family and friends.
With Greetings from Indian Newslink
