Summer has come in hot and that means it’s time to ditch the last of the spring slump, embrace the sunshine and make the most of what our fair city has to offer. We get the scoop on Ballantynes’ iconic Christmas window display, which was inspired by the custom-designed Christmas shopping bags that the department store has used in recent years, and we pull up a pew with rock chick Cathy Richardson of Jefferson Starship, who gives us the skinny on the pressures of playing rock legend Janis Joplin and holding her own.
