We put the spotlight this May on Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. Proud to be able to represent her country the best way she can, Catriona speaks of her atypical introduction to the world of pageantry and how she hopes to be remembered as a purposeful queen.

This month is our Art Issue. For our portfolio we present to you “The Artists to Watch”, a compilation of creatives, 40 and under, who are heirs apparent in their respective genres. We have a story on the collaboration between a renowned photographer and a mixed media artist/furniture designer in “A State of Synergy”. Our gallery page features the group exhibition "In the Near Distance", participated in by one the most talented photographers in the country, Mark Nicdao, alongside Ian Anderson, Olivia d’Aboville, Henri Lamy, Leeroy New, and Enzo Razon. The exhibition was so well-received that we hear the artists are planning a partnership with a legendary photographer for his next project. Lastly, we have an interview with international gallerists Dominique Lévy and Bretz Gorvy of Lévy Gorvy who own galleries in New York and London and are now coming to Asia. The two sit down and speak with us on the state of art and why they are venturing into our region.

Not to be missed is the one-on-one interview of Edipresse Chairman Pierre Lamunière with billionaire philanthropist Binod Chaudhary and “Carmen” by Gemma Cruz Araneta on her late mother Carmen “Chitang” Guerrero Nakpil.
