〈40影蹤　金穗獎的不惑實驗〉
金穗獎作為台灣實驗電影的創作推手，培養出許多新銳電影創作者。在今年，金穗獎邁入不惑之年，本期的「40影蹤」專題，嘗試由不同角度回看金穗獎40年來的樣貌，梳理該獎項創設緣起與發展脈絡；同步觀察台灣社會背景與影像創作之間的變化，試圖了解金穗獎對影像創作的影響與延續，並透過評審委員專訪，思考金穗獎未來的可能性。

〈吉祥如「藝」　觀誰的光？〉
公共藝術與吉祥物，兩者之間交錯著曖昧不明的界限，近年亦有層出不窮的相關事件掀起群眾討論，首先是關乎藝術性的美學討論，另一邊則是關乎場域公共性的歸屬，與在地脈絡的有無。本專題期盼透過交織觀光與藝術的討論，另闢一種對於公共與藝術的思維，並檢視近年熱議事件中，「奇觀吉祥物」的作者，試圖思考審美或思辯式報導背後，皆難以觸及的個案狀態。

〈思辨．辯思　兩藝校長大辯論〉
2017年11月25日──台灣史上第一場「兩藝校長大辯論」，邀請台藝大校長陳志誠與北藝大校長陳愷璜，對於高等藝術教育發表想法，論綱涵蓋藝術大學的理念與定位、如何協助學生銜接產業、推動國際交流等。在本專題裡，我們邀約與會的六位提問人與三位青壯世代的文化觀察者、藝術家、藝評人對此事進行評論與針砭，再一次讓各種思辨介入此事件的對話場域。

〈當下檔案‧未來系譜〉
2016年台北雙年展在9月份正式登場，在「當下檔案‧未來系譜」的命題下，本屆雙年展主軸落在「透過檔案演繹和詮釋」的藝術創作。本期以「關鍵字」的方式展開閱讀，探討過去雙年展在臺灣藝術評論留下的討論空間、影像類作品從「潛在事件」生產出可見檔案的新觀看方法、策展人的策畫歷程等。近期，行政院成立了文化會報機制，與其他政府部門進行資源整合，此一新的機制能否落實實踐部會所倡導的文化價值與理念，且看本期報導。

在台南市中正路尾端，由李祖原設計的「中國城」從極盡時尚摩登的消費場所轉向沒落，我們應該如何抓住這處濃縮了台南人生活記憶的奇異空間當中，一息尚存的文史氣味與色彩？本期專題從政策與歷史面梳理，輔以法國公部門一項與藝術家合作的影像實驗，探討文化遺產如何存活於現代的解決方案。

本期主題：于彭的無涯山水
------
本月專題名稱「最後一筆才是開始」，引自于彭生前最後一次受訪時所言。一九五五年生於台北外雙溪的于彭，猶如《世說新語》裡的人物，「但求一醉」以覓得心中最真實的部分。本次專題收錄2014年紫藤廬主辦的座談，與多位重要人士切入于彭創作精神，以此追憶于彭在藝術上的怪誕，靈魂裡的古意。
 
第二專題「情味時代」，從電影畫面和運鏡，討論小津安二郎作品中特有的家庭與人際表現，從餐桌聲響、廚房食材到物件細節，無一不是精心配置的場景，卻又自然平淡地讓人一眨眼錯過。在春節將至的月份，邀您一同感受小津著迷的日常家庭與空間。

本期主題：日本終戰七十年
------
日韓甫達成慰安婦賠償與道歉協議，然而二戰結束已七十年，諸國對日本的侵略史實仍有許多分歧觀點，更多的是殘留在各地的傷痕與遺跡。去年多場戰爭主題的展覽與電影，或許也是日本現代社會危機所引發的反應。從藤田嗣治的戰爭畫創作，到近代電影和通俗劇對戰爭的描寫，本期專題將呈現更深刻的戰後探討。

同時，大選逼近，始終處於弱勢的文化政策，正因為過去四年的施政成果並不理想，今年依舊要繼續大聲爭取！典藏今藝術與「群氓之聲」、「大內藝術節」合作以大型看板向政府提問「我們有博士級的政經訴求，卻只有＿＿＿級的藝文想像」希望喚起關注。同時臺灣文化政策研究學會將於1月9日進行論壇與直播，以此繼續為文化政策發聲！

本期主題：戰後東亞藝術在台灣
------
近期國際間紛紛針對1960年代以降的當代藝術展開歷史研究。今年10月的「台灣當代藝術史國際研討會」中，13位海內外學者從多角度切入，討論以台灣為中心的東亞藝術與其真實面貌。建立在美軍基地中的沖繩藝術村Nishimui，或者陳界仁於1983年在西門町進行的游擊行動與記錄……在亞洲地域之內的分歧表現，將在本月專題中詳述。

另外以產業觀點來看，北京、上海、香港和新加坡的「亞洲文化自由貿易陣線」蓄勢待發，在多方角力之下，台灣的立場和發展策略又將何去何從？本月第二專題「藝術特區與自由港」，將深入討論這個新一波的亞洲戰場！

本期主題：檔案蒙太奇
如同美國獨立電影製作人艾倫‧柏林納蒐集與剪接從車庫拍賣低價買進的大量家庭影片，濃縮成眾人生老病死的一生；台灣錄像藝術也在各種資料影像中尋找、剪貼出未曾被重視的符號與意識，特別是在2015年重現的如今，設備與機材的進步更凸顯了「復刻」的難度，在關渡美術館進行的「啟視錄：臺灣錄像藝術創世紀」一展，完整呈現了這個巨大挑戰的成果，並且將台灣錄像藝術梳理成序；本期並整理「台灣當代藝術史國際研討會」內容，詳細剖析台灣錄影藝術的流變！

本期主題：集體過勞的藝術世代 
當上班族開始警醒，甚至在日本出現了「社畜」一詞作為自我解嘲的時刻，在同一個社會中，亦有另一個勞力剝削深植其中的圈子，叫作藝術圈。 

創作成形之前，申請補助、獲得投資已非易事，對藝術的熱情亦被扭曲成一種單方向愛戀的無悔付出。漸漸的，創作端與勞力端明白自己已經「窮得只剩下夢想」，但另一端的交易市場仍舊掀動著金錢巨浪，毫無停歇的跡象。 

藝術市場和藝術圈中，是否只能永遠充斥臨時工、自由業者或派遣工？本期專題的探討，將進一步討論、並走入過勞世代的黑洞核心……
