When a Landy specialist from Chartwell, Johannesburg, hit on the idea of restoring a Series III then driving it ‘home’ to Chartwell, Kent, it was the beginning of something very big involving a convoy of seven Landies and a charity auction at one of the UK’s leading salerooms.

Talking of Land Rovers that get around, the Congaree 90 is the latest resto from Legacy Overland. Built in Solihull, worked to near-death in France, reimagined in Connecticut… and every inch a truck to cherish.
