With the spring and summer ahead and hotels and restaurants revived, it is time to fix up those exciting travel plans we have all been dreaming of. I have personally traded Devon’s beaches for culture and picturesque waterways, staying in the heart of its historic city, Exeter, and I enjoyed a countryside weekender at Goodwood, ‘England’s greatest sporting estate’.
