September is also style month, and in this issue, we celebrate the 2024 honourees of our annual Asia's Most Stylish list—individuals we recognise for pushing the boundaries of fashion and being unapologetic in their definition of "style". Welcome to Art Month! It's the most art-tastic time of the year, with both Art Basel and Art Central taking place towards the end of the month, and numerous activations and events at galleries across the city. We're celebrating the occasion with an exclusive cover and photo shoot with iconic Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. The artist spoke to us ahead of the opening of Takashi Murakami Mononoke Kyoto, his first exhibition in Japan in eight years and the first outside of Tokyo. He spoke about his inspiration and collaborations, and some of what he hopes his work brings to observers. He will also be in Hong Kong during Art Basel.

Football fever has swept Hong Kong, as the city prepares for the arrival of Inter Miami, the team co-owned by legendary player David Beckham, who will face a team of local players on February 4. In our December issue, we unveiled Tatler's Asia's Most Influential list for 2023, a definitive  index of 100 people shaping Hong Kong in fields that run the gamut from finance, entrepreneurship and real estate to healthcare, philanthropy and the arts.

July's issue of Tatler is themed Breaking Boundaries, and our cover star, Dr Dennis Lo, knows a thing or two about that. This month, Tatler celebrates design in all forms, from fashion and jewellery to interiors and inclusive cities. In honour of Earth Day on April 22, Tatler's April edition is all about sustainability. Our cover story is an interview with Bosco Chan, the recently appointed director of WWF-HK who talks about a career spent working to protect Earth's biodiversity and shares a vision for Hong Kong in which economic growth and conservation efforts comfortably co-exist. We also speak to other individuals in the city and beyond who are making a difference to the planet through their work, whether by leading the global conversation on sustainable fashion, as is the case with NGO Redress's founder Christina Dean, Vestiaire's Dounia Wone and Edwin Keh of the Hong Kong Research institute of Textiles and Apparel; or hoteliers who are celebrating indigenous culture and sustaining local communities.

Tatler's March edition is coming to you with a new look and feel, underpinned by a core content strategy that’s aimed at communicating once and for all what Tatler Asia’s vision is. The February edition of Tatler is themed around Hong Kong's favourite topic: food. On the cover is Ricardo Chanegon, the Venezuelan chef at the helm of the Michelin-starred Mono, which has been crowned Restaurant of the Year in the 2023 Tatler Dining Awards. He shares his thoughts on the pitfalls of authenticity and why Latin American food deserves a place on the world stage. We also speak to Tatler Dining's Chef of the Year Vicky Lau, the force behind two-Michelin-starred eatery Tate Dining Room; and ArChan Chan, this year's Local Champion. Beyond food, we head to Iceland for a fashion shoot, learn what's being planned for this year's Hong Kong International Literary Festival, and explore the growing trend of travelling for ayahuasca ceremonies.

Tatler welcomes 2023 with an issue themed around well-being. Our cover star is Hong Kong-raised model Mia Kang, who opens up about growing up with eating disorders, and how martial arts gave her a fighting chance to find herself and her voice. The December edition of Tatler is all about celebration. It sees the print launch of the 2022 Asia’s Most Influential list, recognising the individuals making an impact on the city; new inductees this year include our two cover stars, Canto-pop singer and actor Joyce Cheng and Animoca Brand’s new chief business office Alan Lau. We celebrate creativity, culture and Hong Kong’s resilience with coverage of the M+ Gala Presented by Tatler, and speak to Balenciaga’s creative director Demna about disrupting the fashion industry. In November’s edition, Tatler is examining the meaning of purpose, and how people find it. For our cover story, we speak to the curators of the M+ museum’s special exhibition of Yayoi Kusama’s work about the artist’s global influence and impact. For October, Tatler is recognising youth and innovation, in conjunction with the launch of the Gen.T 2022 list. One of our two cover stories showcases rising singer-songwriter Tyson Yoshi, who tells us about his journey from uncertain teen to the self-confident star who has performed in front of thousands of screaming fans in recent months. The second cover introduces three young people from the new Gen.T list who are using technology to find solutions to environmental problems plaguing city. September marks Tatler’s paean to style, with the release of the annual Asia’s Most Stylish list. Its honourees each represent a different take on the idea of “dressing to express” and prove that being stylish is about far more than wearing the latest releases from the hottest brands. For August, Tatler celebrates inclusion and diversity in everything from legal rights and employment to fashion and beauty. For our cover story, we spoke to members of the LGBTQ+ community about the hurdles they face when they want to do that most basic human thing of starting a family. We also speak to six models who buck the trend of what is “expected” of those working in fashion; chat with a man who is striving to make Hong Kong more accessible to the visually impaired with the city’s first guide dog school; and hear from a senior journalist at CNN about why diversity and inclusion matter in the newsroom and on our television screens.

The July edition is all about perspectives and celebrating how a variety of viewpoints makes life more interesting.
