Welcome to Art Month! It's the most art-tastic time of the year, with both Art Basel and Art Central taking place towards the end of the month, and numerous activations and events at galleries across the city. We're celebrating the occasion with an exclusive cover and photo shoot with iconic Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. The artist spoke to us ahead of the opening of Takashi Murakami Mononoke Kyoto, his first exhibition in Japan in eight years and the first outside of Tokyo. He spoke about his inspiration and collaborations, and some of what he hopes his work brings to observers. He will also be in Hong Kong during Art Basel.

In honour of Earth Day on April 22, Tatler's April edition is all about sustainability. Our cover story is an interview with Bosco Chan, the recently appointed director of WWF-HK who talks about a career spent working to protect Earth's biodiversity and shares a vision for Hong Kong in which economic growth and conservation efforts comfortably co-exist. We also speak to other individuals in the city and beyond who are making a difference to the planet through their work, whether by leading the global conversation on sustainable fashion, as is the case with NGO Redress's founder Christina Dean, Vestiaire's Dounia Wone and Edwin Keh of the Hong Kong Research institute of Textiles and Apparel; or hoteliers who are celebrating indigenous culture and sustaining local communities.

Tatler's March edition is coming to you with a new look and feel, underpinned by a core content strategy that’s aimed at communicating once and for all what Tatler Asia’s vision is. The February edition of Tatler is themed around Hong Kong's favourite topic: food. On the cover is Ricardo Chanegon, the Venezuelan chef at the helm of the Michelin-starred Mono, which has been crowned Restaurant of the Year in the 2023 Tatler Dining Awards. He shares his thoughts on the pitfalls of authenticity and why Latin American food deserves a place on the world stage. We also speak to Tatler Dining's Chef of the Year Vicky Lau, the force behind two-Michelin-starred eatery Tate Dining Room; and ArChan Chan, this year's Local Champion. The December edition of Tatler is all about celebration. For October, Tatler is recognising youth and innovation, in conjunction with the launch of the Gen.T 2022 list. One of our two cover stories showcases rising singer-songwriter Tyson Yoshi, who tells us about his journey from uncertain teen to the self-confident star who has performed in front of thousands of screaming fans in recent months. The second cover introduces three young people from the new Gen.T list who are using technology to find solutions to environmental problems plaguing city.
