Highlights of India Plus magazine dated January 15, 2013. The issue looks at how justice for the Delhi gangrape victim is likely to be delayed due to bureaucratic procedures and legal tangles. It also looks at how the ministers and MPs who are supposed to represent the common man was nowhere in sight at the protests for justice for the victim. As a follow up to the heinous crime in which a 23-year-old medical student was gangraped and left to die, the issue looks at the juvenile justice system and how instead of rehabilitating the young criminals, it only hardens them. The issue also looks at another side of the much revered Asaram Bapu who said that the victim was as much to blame for her predicament as the perpetrators of the crime. Moving away from reports of the Delhi gangrape, the issue presents two generations of Bollywood in conversations with Tanuja and Kajol as well as Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. It also looks at how India is preparing for a never-before world of energy abundance even as the US moves closer to self-reliance. Reporting on how Yuvraj Singh battled cancer and returned to Team India in top form. It also looks at how Team India captain M.S. Dhoni has quelled threats to his captaincy to get the team he has wanted for the 2015 World Cup.
