You will be starting a new academic year this month; embark on yet another new chapter in your young lives. You are probably feeling excited and maybe a little sad that summer vacation is over. Some of you will be bit nervous or anxious on the first day of school because of all the new things: new teachers, new friends, and for some of you maybe even a new school.

It’s like the feeling before the race but once the whistle blows you just get on with the race. That’s what I call ‘Get. Set. Enjoy!’, stride by stride you move forward and gain new experiences and at the end of the academic year you are enriched with new experiences, knowledge and loads of fun moments with friends. 

June is truly an action-packed month – as 10 teams compete for Cricket World Cup. Sports can teach you important life lessons – team work, the spirit of participating and giving your best to win, it also teaches you to accept failure and overcome it and more importantly it teaches you to never give-up. In this issue we also have role model in Malala Yousafzai who fought against all odds to help children get educated in her country, stories, trivia on the 14 moons of Neptune and some fun activities to get you started for an exciting June.

In ‘Treasures of Ranchipur’, Meg, Yogi, Ali and Choco are glad to find that the library they had initiated had garnered a great response. As they talk to Sameera, the librarian, Meg gets distracted by the behaviour of a little boy sitting in the corner taking down notes from a book. She gets very suspicious of his activity. On inquiring with Sameera as to which book is he referring to, she recollects it to be a book titled ‘Treasures of Ranchipur’. Sameera takes them through the history of the treasures. Many years ago, the cave of Ranchipur was a secret hiding place for pirates who looted the ships and hid their loot in the caves. With the sea levels falling, recently, the caves were visible again. This gets Meg, Ali and Yogi keen to find the treasure.
