This month, in commemoration of the establishment of the Malaysian federation in 1963, August Man has taken a more diverse and inclusive approach to celebrating Malaysia Day by collaborating with fashion revolutionary Azreezal Hafidz, conceptual photographer Daniel Adams and LifeWear brand Uniqlo, and presenting the latest generation of Malaysians who are embracing their differences and unique sense of self, and redefining our national identity. At the same time, we are proud to have our national and Olympic sailor Khairulnizam Afendy on our cover, dressed in Rado’s Captain Cook timepiece and Bottega Veneta, Khairulnizam talks about his continued preparation for the Olympics, despite the competition’s postponement to 2021. His cover is complemented by another featuring K-pop sensation Jackson Wang, star of Cartier’s new and diverse “Pasha Community” campaign.
