Christmas is approaching and this issue focuses on hope. Themed It's the Season of Hope, we hope you enjoy some of the hope-filled stories from our colleagues. (pg 28). We were the first private hospital, in partnership with Community Chest to raise awareness and rally support for the Rare Disease Fund (pg 22). Osteoporosis is a bone condition characterised by low bone mass or decreased bone strength, and we discover how the roles of hormones in osteoporosis along with current and emerging new methods of treatment. (pg 56). Finally, in Dementia vs Alzheimer’s Disease (pg 68), we discover the differences between these two common age-related conditions. Happy reading!
