Our BOBs issue is bigger and better than ever! We have 315 winners this year, a record number in the 15-year history of the awards. They cover all areas of life in Charlotte — food, drink, arts, family, shopping, diversions, and personalities. It’s a must-have issue for anyone who lives here, or anyone who’s thinking of living here, or anyone who just wants to be reminded of all of the great things in our town. And on May 29, we’ll turn it into a big party at the Fillmore.

Also in the issue, we have a feature that explores the wild side of Huntersville, with hiking trails and woodlands all hidden in one of the city’s largest suburbs. Other features include a story on Meredith Dolhare, who overcame her own personal demons to create a running club that helps people in need, and a personal essay remembering two menswear stores in uptown in the 1950s and 1960s.
