Consolidating a childhood infatuation in one killer platform that brings light to the dark
Ask any parent about raising a kid and they’ll be the first to tell you that it’s an ever-evolving beast. For the most part, what’s popular today is long forgotten by tomorrow, but there is one thing that remains consistent—and that’s the attraction, infatuation, and evolution of ’30s superheroes.
Let’s take Batman for example; dude has been around for almost 80 years, and though he’s evolved aesthetically he still manages to captivate kids (and adults) as the infamous caped crusader. Once a superhero strictly for kids, the release of the film The Dark Knight redefined the possibilities of what a comic book movie could be—even for adults.
The simple tale of good versus evil was replaced with a darker, more complex composition that catered more to adults. The big box office hit also received a helping hand from the advancement of visual effects, and that was enough to revive childhood memories for Lorenzo, the owner of this lowrider.
