Considering that SEMA is far and away the largest automotive aftermarket show on the planet, how you present your company and its products there can have a large impact on potential clients, other businesses, and enthusiasts. You are essentially making a statement about who you are and what your company is all about. If you’re a design firm, you have your best work on display. If you build parts, you find the best way to exhibit them. And then there are companies like SpeedKore that are looking to push the boundaries on what a muscle car can be. SpeedKore displayed four vehicles at SEMA 2016 in Las Vegas, which is a seriously impressive rollout for even the most established shop, but considering that Speed- Kore is only about 18 months old, and this was only their second year at SEMA, it was practically unheard of, so people noticed.

In the line-up was Tantrum, the ’70 Dodge Charger that debuted at SEMA in 2015 and received Gran Turismo’s “Best Domestic” award. Tantrum went on a post show victory lap including an appearance on Jay Leno’s Garage, and a trip to Atlanta for the filming of Fast 8, the latest movie in the Fast & Furious franchise. SpeedKore also brought an all carbon-fiber ’16 Hellcat Challenge, a ’17 Mustang GT (which won Ford’s “Best in Show” Award in Design for 2016), and this ’70 ’Cuda, known as Menace. All are really good-looking cars, but a little more than that was grabbing people’s attention.
