What is it?
Everyone can’t afford a Nissan GT-R Nismo, but you can geek out over this LEGO model instead.
Why is it cool?
LEGO makes a range, called Speed Champions, of highly desirable vehicles. They are incredibly detailed, and as anyone who grew up around LEGOs will attest to, putting them together is quite an intimate experience. What makes these special is that it retains the iconic LEGO boxy structure, but still manages to capture the design language and detail of the car. The Nissan GT-R Nismo (R35) is the latest to join the series and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s made from 298 parts and includes key details like the iconic tail-lights, the quad exhausts, large rear wing and front splitter. Even the paint scheme has been replicated to perfection. It’s a fun, easy project for a lazy day and would make a fantastic accessory to any enthusiast’s room.
