Mr.Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) since May 2014, in the cabinet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a very busy man.
In fact, being a popular politician from the most populous state of the country, Uttar Pradesh, the Gazipur born minister has always been in great demand. He has been a threeterm member of Rajya Sabha in 1978, 2001 and 2006. He contested and won the elections to the Lok Sabha from Deoria for the first time in 2014 and was appointed cabinet minister for MSME.
He has just returned from a tour of China to attend the prestigious three-day China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF2016).This is the 13th session of the CISMEF. The minister was in Guangzhou with a delegation of 124 Indian Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).India participated with the Bureau of China International SME in organising the fair as the co-host country through the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and National Small Industries Corporation.
The MSME units represent different states of India across various sectors,comprising of sectors like textile, garments, cycle parts, among others. The participating units in this fair will also benefit by benchmarking their products and quality with the international products.
