WHAT’S IT LIKE? As soon as I got out of my car, my luggage was sanitised, and my green status on Aarogya Setu App was checked. This was followed by thermal screening. After complying with these safety norms, I was welcomed by the spiral waterfall chandelier into this familiar space that I once visited frequently before the pandemic. While trying to understand the elaborate safety procedures that are being practiced across the hotel, I was informed that every 90 minutes, the hotel rings a bell – a signal for the cleanliness check.

WHERE IS IT? Located in Andheri East, this Marriott hotel is a few minutes away from the International airport and 15 minutes away from the domestic airport.

ROOMS I stayed in a Deluxe suite (76 sqm) that houses an elegant living room, an expansive bedroom, and a balcony. The suite’s interiors are neatly done in white, grey and wood colours, and it has ample of natural lighting. The living room features a classy kitchenette with a coffee machine, a flat-screen and comfortable couch. A spacious work desk has all the necessary items, including power sockets that helped me work efficiently during the day.
