HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG), India’s leading provider of cancer care, is exploring the possibility to set up Oman’s first cancer centre in the private sector. The company recently entered into a letter of intent with Gruppoexcel Holding Incorporated, Oman, to develop the groundwork for this unique concept.
HGC will also set up an In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) centre in the Sultanate, through its group company Milann, a specialist provider of fertility treatment in India. Milann, which operates four fertility centres in India, offers comprehensive reproductive medicine services including assisted reproduction, gynaecological endoscopy and fertility preservation.
HCG group, which recently forayed into Africa investing in the largest cancer care hospital in the private sector in Nairobi, Kenya, has ambitious plans for Oman, as part of its expansion strategy to the Gulf and the wider Middle East region.
